Preamble

The International Federation of Sports Chiropractic (FICS) was founded in the State of New Jersey, in March of 1987, and was formally organized in London, England in September 1987 pursuant to the corporation filed in New Jersey, (United States of America).
The Founder of this corporate entity is Doctor Stephen J. PRESS (USA). It was upon his request that the first meeting was called in London that same year. The Charter members were Doctors Jacques BRETON (Canada), John STUMP (USA), Noel PATTERSON (Australia) and George BILLAUER (USA). At this meeting, Doctor Stephen PRESS was elected the 1st President of FICS from 1987 to 1990.
The 4th of July 1998, the General Assembly of FICS voted to transfer its headquarters to Switzerland in Paris and thereupon adopted new statutes governed by the Swiss civil code.
